I built the ss.lam e-commerce website on shopify from beginning to completion, regularly updating the site with shop announcements. using my knowledge of web coding and html and css experience, I kept up web maintenance for a smooth consumer shopping experience. in additional to keeping the website looking its best, I also designed exclusive ss.lam icons which were created on illustrator and procreate.
as a copywriter and marketer, I wrote and planned email marketing campaigns around promotions and product launches.
content system management
when building of the e-commerce website on shopify, it was important that the content was a dynamic experience on both desktop and mobile, that was also user-friendly through the use of text and rich media. other factors that were considered in during the process were how seo could help direct web traffic to the most relevant pages.
after the launch, I often referred back to shopify's analytics & reports page to assess consumer behaviours and identify trends. I also had a newsletter sign-up which collected information for future marketing campaigns. from this, I segmented customers & web visitors by country demographic and spending habits, to develop new and specific content to drive more sales.

originality and exclusivity when it came to the ss.lam branding was essential for me. I wanted to create a brand and a website that could easily be recognisable, despite operating in a saturated market such as the 'customisation' field. I incorporated my passion for graphic design and love of a neutral/earth-toned colour scheme into the brand.
